The book "Russian Interiors" by Andy Rocchelli is an intimate exploration of Russian women in their domestic environments. Compiled during Rocchelli's travels in Russia starting in 2010, this project initially served as a means to financially sustain his stay in Moscow. It involved offering low-cost portrait photography to single women in their homes, thus capturing authentic glimpses into their private lives. The collection features both client-commissioned and personal photographs. This compilation delves beyond mere commercial portraiture to reveal the personal stories and intimate spaces of Russian women, utilizing unique handmade hardcover design, with foldable pages and screen-printed title.
