This survey presents 800 paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations selected from Charles Saatchi’s collection of young British art and arranged chronologically. Spanning the preceding decade, it includes work by Damien Hirst, Marc Quinn, Rachel Whiteread, Gary Hume, Fiona Rae, Jenny Saville, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Mark Wallinger, Sarah Lucas, and other artists. Previously unpublished works appear alongside essays, articles, cartoons, and interviews with the represented artists.
