Xavier Miserachs: Barcelona revisits the iconic 1964 photobook Blanc i negre, showcasing 84 out of the 371 original photographs. It captures the complexity and allure of Barcelona, a city alive with day and nightlife. Influenced by William Klein and Francesc Català-Roca, Miserachs depicted families, children, bustling markets, and factory workers in luminous black and white. His images reflect a Barcelona enjoying the prosperity of the "Spanish miracle." This book is copublished by the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona and RM Verlag, celebrating Miserachs' warm-hearted and exuberant photography of his native city.
