"Us" is a photographic project by Rona Bar and Ofek Avshalom, exploring themes of intimacy, representation, and everyday life. Developed over two years following the artists' own relationship during the Covid-19 lockdown, the book presents portraits of 25 couples in their homes across Israel, the UK, and Europe. It focuses on couples often underrepresented in mainstream media, aiming to broaden visibility and challenge conventional narratives. Blending surreal aesthetics with documentary-style realism, the work reflects the duo’s signature visual language and storytelling approach, grounded in both personal experience and a desire to reveal the quietly extraordinary.
