This monograph presents Nicholas Nixon’s annual portraits of his wife, Bebe, and her sisters Heather, Mimi, and Laurie Brown. Begun in 1975, the series records the four women assembling each year for a group portrait, charting the passage of time and familial continuity over thirty-three years. Made with an 8 × 10-inch view camera, this second edition adds eight photographs to the sequence first published by the Museum of Modern Art in 1999.
