Pimo Dictionary extends Pixy Liao’s Experimental Relationship project through a visual and textual guide to the private language she shares with her partner, Moro. With Mandarin and Japanese as their respective first languages, the couple generally communicates in English, supplemented by a hybrid vocabulary drawn from Chinese, Japanese, mantras, and slang. The book documents this coded daily language and the mannerisms that accompany it.
