This publication, curated by Horacio Fernández, offers a reinterpretation of Miserachs' most ambitious photographic work. It presents 84 selected images from the original 371, capturing both day and night scenes of urban life. Inspired by William Klein and Francesc Català-Roca, Miserachs documents facets of the city such as family strolls, street festivals, children playing, flea markets, factory workers, and immigrants at train stations. These photographs explore themes of community, labor, and migration, portraying the vibrancy and complexity of urban existence. This approach provides a fresh perspective on the city’s dynamic pulse and societal interactions.
