Chinese photographer Lin Zhipeng, known as "223," explores themes of youth, sexual playfulness, and cultural conservatism in his series "Grand Amour." Created over three days in collaboration with curator Anna Mistal at Paris's Grand Amour hotel, this project involved Asian models sourced via social media, and props like fruits and flowers. The resulting series, exhibited in the hotel's corridors and rooms, delves into love, sex, youth, escapism, and social pressures. Zhipeng describes his role as an observer capturing the ephemeral nature of desire and emotion, using photography to navigate between voyeurism and artistic expression.
