"Facile" is a collaborative artist's book created by poet Paul Eluard, photographer Man Ray, and publisher Guy Lévis Mano, reissued as a remarkable facsimile of the original 1935 edition. This work celebrates the female form, embodied by Nusch, muse to Eluard and model for Man Ray, through five poems and twelve heliogravure black-and-white photographs. The edition features a specially designed cover by Mano and a signed photograph by Man Ray. This facsimile is of the first copy, housed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France and includes a booklet by Paul Eluard expert Nicole Boulestreau.
