Laure Albin Guillot (1879-1962) was a prominent figure in French photography, particularly influential in the 1930s and 1940s. Despite her significant exposure and recognition during her lifetime, she remains enigmatic due to the limited studies on her work. This exhibition catalogue features 100 of her photographic prints and original books, along with magazines and historical documents sourced from private and public collections, including the Musée national d’art moderne and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. The collection highlights her professional commitment, talent, and impact on French photography. This is a co-edition by Éditions de La Martinière and Jeu de Paume.
