The series "La Chute" portrays weightless bodies of Hip Hop, Capoeira, and contemporary dancers, capturing a "2000s angel's fall" filled with tension and energy. After the 2005 suburban crises, Denis Darzacq photographed these suspended moments in generic, popular architecture, emphasizing real, unaltered moments despite the era of Photoshop. Set in Paris' urban settings, the images feature baroque scenes of levitating bodies, exploring propulsion, gravity loss, and energy. The work questions the fate of these energetic bodies eager to participate, risking falling unnoticed if ignored. It challenges perceptions and invites reflection on their dynamic existence.
