Eikoh Hosoe's "Kamaitachi" is a classic of Japanese photography, published for the first time outside Japan. This limited edition features 40 black-and-white tritone images presented with gatefold pages, within a slipcased and clamshell box. It revisits Hosoe's interactions with notable Japanese cultural figures, such as Butoh dancer Tatsumi Hijikata and novelist Yukio Mishima, while capturing the evocative landscapes of his childhood during World War II's final years. This edition is both a creative collaboration with Hosoe and a tribute to the original work, comprising 500 signed and numbered copies, making it a unique art piece.
