This monograph presents Bruce Davidson’s photographs of a single block in East Harlem, made over two years during the 1960s. Returning day after day, Davidson photographed residents on the sidewalks and in their homes, making portraits of individuals, children, families, and interiors. Originally published in 1970, this 2003 reissue includes more than 20 photographs not included in the original edition.
